Horse Racing Results August 2014 +$6,063.50
A quick update on the Horse racing results for August. In total I bet $236,947.50 and made a profit of $6,063.50 which is a 2.56% ROI. You can look at the table below for each individual services results.
Most of the profit was generated by a win bet that blew out to $33 and also the Exacta and Trifecta in the same race. That one race returned close to $25,000. I have also added 2 new services this month. I don’t see myself adding anything new from here on in for quite a while. I hope this portfolio works well over the upcoming Spring carnival.
The big news for September is the arrival of the minimum bet limits on NSW races. I have a live blog going as most bookmakers are trying to get around the rule in some very unscrupulous ways

Hello Steve,
Being a new member to dailyprofit I thought I had better find out more about what makes Steve tick.So guess what I have read the blog plus comments from start to finish. You can see I am easily entertained.I must admit I did get seasick riding the waves of profit and loss, however I also enjoyed the world trips from the armchair. It is interesting to note that from the earliest stages to the most recent you are not sure if this is going to be successful.I would imagine having such a nice profit back up will help along the way to finding out.I congratulate you on your success so far and I would say this has been down to,apart from having the cream of the crop in the selecting world in Sportpunter,to your persistence. There are not too many who could accept the losses and bounce back each month. One thing I am intrigued about is the fact that I don’t think there was any mention of one of the worlds top betting areas. Now I know cricket has been subject to fixing but I would of thought it could be a possible option for you.Interestingly I tried a search for best cricket selectors and whereas with other sports you come up with a plethora of possibles I only managed to come up with a free one and a paid tipster who averages 2 points a month.Wouldn’t it be great if you could twist Jonnos arm and persuade him to come up with a team or player based cricket model.Imagine obtaining the same results as in the Football,Rugby.
I look forward to following your Aus horse racing trials as I think this field is probably the most difficult to be long term successful at.
So know I know more about who Steve is and having enjoyed (financially) my first month with the dailyprofit service I look forward to continued.
best wishes,
Gil
Hello Steve,
Any comment re cricket betting?
Hey Gil, sorry about not replying, My email never came up with your last message. Wow, you actually read the whole site. Crazy.
To this day I’m not fully convinced this is a viable long term profitable venture. I think there are a small handful of tipsters that I trust and many others that sadly will lose me money. The issue is I’m not sure which ones they are yet. I have made a healthy profit, but as you mentioned, that’s all down to one tipster.
In regards to cricket, I believe Jonno did have some cricket models in the past, not sure why he doesn’t look into it as he loves his cricket and there are more and more games happening all the time. A player based model would work really well too.
Glad you’re on board with the dailyprofit service. That’s the one area where I have no concerns. I know long term it will continue to make a healthy profit. I have happily been fleecing the bookies for many years and will continue to do so for many more.
