Jan 28th – Feb 10th -$13,438.34
Boy am I glad I was hungover almost every day and didn’t manage to place a heap of bets over the last 2 weeks. It would take too long to work it out, but I easily saved $20,000 from sports and another $5-10,000 with horse racing. It was still a significant loss from the bets I did place, but if I had stayed home and placed everything, I would be wallowing in tears right now. I’ll have a post this week summarising what I can remember (and am allowed to talk about) from the trip and post some photos too. The day we arrived, my phone decided to die, so I only had internet access for the few hours per day I was back at the hotel. Luckily the other guys took a few photos, so I can use theirs to piece together whatever happened. I’ll be very happy to complete FebFast (no drinking) for the rest of this month and well into March.
Onto the fortnights results and I really can not complain about the loss. As mentioned earlier, it should have been much worse. The only Sportpunter service I was following was the NHL and that ended down $1,500. It felt so good not to worry about the ClubGOWI service, and looking over the emails, I saved a small fortune. I have decided to not even look at his blue type picks as they are just ridiculous and leaves record keeping open to even more fudging of figures. This is something I see from a few services, they like to have more then 1 service going, so they double their chances of being able to boast about a profitable week/month.
I believe I am cursed with Golf betting. I have missed about 10 bets from hundreds over the past year. 3 of them were winners. This time I had zero chance of placing the winning bet as I was on a plane when the bets came out and the tournament had started when I landed. I will beat this golf curse eventually.
Onto the Soccer and a $12,000 loss across all models. TFA was the main culprit, but I dodged a bullet big time.
A very quick update this week, as I have a lot to catch up on. But I am looking forward to producing more content this year. I’m sure by next Tuesday I will be back into a good posting routine. If you emailed me over the past few weeks, I promise to reply very soon.
Also a heads up for anybody who is not yet a member of the Dailyprofit service. The Sportpunter Super 15 model starts on Friday and the NRL and AFL models also start in a few weeks. Now is the perfect time to become a member as lots more bets will be advised. Last season the AFL, NRL and S15 combined returned 10% over 145 bets, but we only started the service near the end of all 3 seasons. There will be triple the amount of bets and hopefully the same amazing ROI. The AFL model is by far the greatest one I have ever come across and the NRL and S15 continue to improve each season. As always, the past is no indication of future results, but I know I’ll be upping my banks again this season for all 3 models.

I thought GOWI’s blue tips were going to be bets that might not be available to everyone, or very small stakes at high odds that could have some value….but now he’s sending 1.25-1.5u bets (even 1.75u a few days ago) on easy to get prices, big leagues, etc. so most of the times there’s no difference between red and blue…except for the font color.
I can’t understand what he’s trying to do with them, the only logical explanation I can find is what you said: “double their chances of being able to boast about a profitable week/month”
Im glad I stopped with Keiths Bullshit service.
Steve, what are the Daily Profit results for Sportpunter service only? Tried to contact you on the Daily Profit web site but there are no contact details or form there.
Mariano, Thats what I took from his mail, as well, when explaining the blue types when the idea started last autumn.
As you say now it is no discernible difference between the red and blue besides the color coding in the e-mails. I think it is utterly pathetic, he must know any kind of serious follow up on those blue types is a pain in the ass to say the least…
Hey WM,
You can download the results here

Currently the SP service is in profit $2,637.84 after $40,850 worth of advised bets. So a 6.5% ROI. This is over 473 bets.
This is based of a $4,000 bank and most plays are 1 unit. A 65% bank increase in 7 months. We hope to double banks each year.
Hey Steve, are you following all Super 15 models or only the H2H? (being the only one with a positive ROI). If not, why? Do you have confidence that they will turn around or do you want to reduce the variance?
