hey Steve, I’m trying to start taking sportsbetting seriously and assist my income (only part time as im a uni student), how do you go about not being restricted from accounts? because my bankroll started at $5,000 and only making bets of about $50 at a time with ladbrokes and only after a few days of winning i was restricted. also where do you get your bets from or where do you document your bets? Cheers

Hi Jared, if you are only betting at Ladbrokes, you are not getting the best possible odds anyway. Make sure you open accounts with every single bookmaker (Australian and off shore), make sure to take advantage of their sign up offers as well, you should be able to double that 5k bank very quickly if you learn about matched betting.

I run a service that teaches all this and takes advantage of all the bonus offers

In regards to account closures, welcome to the world of betting. Bookmakers only want losing punters. Sign this petition and help change that.

I do have a few accounts, which is why i was unsure why ladbrokes had restricted me when i had made over 4 times as much using crownbet. i live in SA and most bonus bets arent applicable to my state, is there any way of getting around this?
in my 4 months or so since i started recreationally betting on sports i made $650 profit on a $2200 turnover(i expect this to go down a bit as i think ive been extremely lucky), but how much should i turn over each day on a $5000 bankroll, with how many bets approximately?
cheers for your response, ill sign up for your VIP service as soon as it is avaliable (any date when it should be)?

Most bookies say they are not available, but once you sign up (and don’t deposit), they are free to offer you incentives.

You will need to learn the maths if you want to make a long term profit. Being spoon fed answers will only get you so far.

You have given me nothing to go on apart from a 5,000 bankroll. I do not know what sort of profit you want to make, what level of risk you can deal with, how much time you have to dedicate to researching and placing bets.

There are so many variables. Before placing another bet I would suggest taking the time to read up as much stuff as possible on betting. There are a few good articles on this site, and google is your friend.. Go down the rabbit hole first and learn everything, because if you don’t, you won’t have that bank for very long.
