This weeks loss feels like a massive win to me. At one stage on Saturday night I was once again sitting on a $30,000 loss for the week. Luckily the biggest AFL bet of the week won and the Saturday night Soccer had some big priced winners. Let’s just say I am grateful April is over. April saw $933,262.00 bet for a $59,101.59 loss at negative 6.33% ROI. Soccer was the poorest sport with a $65,932 loss at -14.7% while AFL was easily the best with $22,730 profit at 16.7%. Just 2 months left in year 5 and while I have not completely given up on a profit this year, it’s a big hill to climb.

The AFL had a very poor week with a $9,700 loss. Most bets were not even close to winning. The NHL playoffs have thrown up over bets on almost every single game. A $2,950 profit this week. Jonno has made changes to the MLB model as it was consistently picking unders and this week it lost $1,150. The Rugby made $300.

ClubGowi made $3,400 and has moved back into 1% ROI territory for the season. Jason Kelly lost $450 on the Golf but had some big priced bets still alive late in the tournament.

Football betting made a combined $4,150 this week. Football Value lost $2,000, TFA made $4,775, Winabobatoo made $1,770 and Football Investor lost $400. Reading beating Derby at odds of $9.43 was the savior as that bet alone which was picked by both TFA and Winabob produced $8,430 profit.

A break-even week and one I am happy to have. I feel that any loss under $50,000 over a season is not that bad for the risks I am taking. There are still two months left and if they are a replica of April than we could be sitting on a much much worse loss, or we could be in profit. Those are the crazy swings I have come to expect from betting. Until next week.
