A third steady week of profit brings the 4th season into the black. A bit has been given back in the last few days, but still very happy to see some profit early in the season. I guess if you whinge a lot like I did last week then you get what you want, you poms have been onto something for a very long time.

All the profit was once again made with the AFL model, a total of $9,300 profit for the week. Disappointed that the season has only 2 more rounds left before the finals. 6 more bets against Nadal this week and 6 more losses, a few other results went my way but Tennis lost another $1,000 this week. Jonno at Sportpunter is going to do some analysis on betting against the top 4, I’m hoping it shows a long term profit, but the model has real trouble with players coming back from injury or going on a good run.

FB Elites second bet of the season was a winner with $1,300 profit, but the first Skeeve bet of the season lost and that’s $1,200 down the drain. OTP NRL had a poor week with $1,100 lost and add another $900 loss for the Golf and add $700 for the MLB to the losses column.

Off to New York tomorrow and will be seeing a Mets game and some of the US Open qualifying games. Might also try and fit in an NFL game and a bit of other sport while I’m in the states. Hoping for a stellar week to get the profit into 5 figure and then onto 6 by the time I’m back in Australia.
