Happy Festive season indeed. My second most profitable month since I started 5 months ago. It seems that my profit pattern is to have a month or 2 of going nowhere followed by a few weeks that produce massive profits. It would be much easier if there was just a constant weekly profit, but that’s not the way things work and the sooner I can come to terms with that the less stress I will have in my life. Looking at the stats, much of the profit was from the Soccer model, followed by Kiwi, NBA and NHL models. NBL made a small comeback and then had a big loss on the final game of the week. The Horse racing hasn’t thrown up many bets this week due to the weather conditions in the UK so has stayed at a negative.
The start of this week also saw me stop betting two models. NCAA was an easy decision, I had lost $5,000 at -17% POT and I could not get anywhere near the posted lines, each day was just taking more and more of my profits. I have been very happy with this decision, it not only frees up my mornings, but I also feel this is a good step in becoming a professional, as I never like to give up a losing position and think if I can keep at it that eventually it will come good. There were so many factors that told me this was a losing proposition and although it cost me $5,000, it has taught me a valuable lesson. The other model I have stopped following is the NBA line bets. I don’t think this model is all that bad but again it had a negative balance and the analysis showed that even in a good year I could only expect around 1% POT.
Next week will see my total turnover surpass $1,000,000 and I’ll break down each sports profits/losses and give a few more stats then usual and an updated graph.
Total profit for the week was $7560
