Another week where the losses should have been so much more, but my lack of sleep saved me again. Missing bets is not something I like to do on a regular basis. If I am following profitable models, over the long run these missed bets will cost me profit. On Saturday night I placed whatever bets I could (where prices were close to those quoted), and set my alarm for 45 minutes before kickoff to place the rest. I slept through that alarm and saved myself about $14,000. I would say I should only be sitting on about $20,000 profit this year, so am overjoyed to be where I am. This site is a 10 year project and I do expect to have at least 1 and probably 2 or 3 losing years in that time.

The NBL regular season wrapped up this week with $1,000 profit. It’s been a really tough season, a sizable loss, a real hassle to get the bets on and some accounts being limited. Last season, NBL was my savior, so I can forgive a losing season. NHL continues to be the standout this year. $3,900 profit this week. The Rugby did not do so well in week 2, dropping $2,100. Thursday sees the NAB Cup start and I’m excited for another AFL season.

I’m pleased with how I use the ClubGOWI service now. I know it will make me a small profit long term and now all I do is try and get matched on the red type before the game or bet the opposite if the odds have moved dramatically. This reduces my stress with this service and I no longer waste my energy worrying about it. I wouldn’t recommend the service for anyone who did not have a sizable bank as the monthly fees would eat any profit. This week the bets I could get on resulted in $2,100 profit.

Both Golf services lost a combined $400.

The Soccer bets lost $11,600 this week, but that should really be $26,300. Thanks to Oliver and his teething, I have not had much sleep the last few weeks and that caught up with me on Saturday night. The EPL games start at 2 am my time and my 1:15 am alarm failed to wake me. I saved $10,000 with TFA and $4,000 with Winabobatoo. My end of year results for both those services will look very different to most others. Football Elite lost $3,100 and has really crashed and burned the last few months. Football Value made $1,300, TFA lost $6,700 and Winabobatoo lost $2,000. Football Investor also lost $1,100. My Personal picks lost $1,300 and betting against Gowi made $500.

I hit a high of $69,000 this week, but the Soccer bets I did manage to place and the Sunday NBL saw me lose $15,000 on Sunday. Apart from the lack of sleep, I am slowly getting on top of everything I let pile up while away in America. Really looking forward to the new AFL season, not only has it been my biggest earner over the years, but it is also the best sport to watch.
