February marks 11 straight losing months. But it wasn’t until the last few days that I dropped into negative territory. The loss is tiny though, and the way things have been going, I see that as a win.
February was my lowest ever monthly turnover as I was only really betting on NBA H2H bets. The NBA all star week was also on, so it was great to take a week off from betting.
In total, February saw turnover of $34,750.00 for a loss of $970.00 at -2.79% ROI.
I placed 52 bets over the month and won 23, and lost 29.
AFL
The pre-season comp started in Feb and I remembered how impossible it is to place a bet with Australian bookmakers. None of them would take anything over $100 and in the end I just gave up. I only placed the one H2H and Line bet and lost $660.00. With Pinnacle soon to leave our shores, and Australian bookmakers unwilling to take a bet, it may mean the hobby I love is taken away from me.
NFL
Just the final bet on the Superbowl and the unders were looking great until the game turned and it ended up in OT. A $2,280.00 loss to round off the season.
NBA
The NBA had the bulk of the turnover with 49 bets and $30,280.00 turned over for a $1,970.00 profit at 6.5%. No complaints with that return.
March sees the start of the NRL and the first round of the AFL season. This means turnover will increase once again. I hope to get off to a great start and make it the first winning month in the past 8.
