Another frustrating weekend of Soccer. Was up over $15,000 after a great Saturday thanks mostly to The Football Analyst, and then gave a big chunk of it back by winning 1 of 20 bets on the Sunday night. The culprits were Football Elite and XX Draws.
Not much turnover this week in ATP as only the Davis Cup to bet on, a small $500 profit was made.
NBL Totals improved a little but Line bets continue to be poor. In total a $2,000 profit. This was my last week of following the NBA and it lost $2,400. I really should have stopped at the end of December, but I was hoping the model had corrected itself this year. I was wrong and should listen to the numbers from now on. My unwillingness to let go cost me an extra $4,500 profit. All up for a bit more then half the season, the profit ended at $16,000. I believe the high was around $28,000, so next year it might be even wiser to end before December. Very happy with the final figure and will continue again next year, but with H2H bets at the same Kelly fractional as Totals bets.
Saturday was a standout day for Soccer, TFA, Combo FI and Skeeve performed well, but then Sunday rolled around and really had me swearing. TFA Established made a whopping $12,815 with all the home team bets winning, the Euro bets gave back $2600, but $2,000 off that was on Catania at $7.60. They lost 2-0, but if that bet had won then it would have been one hell of a week for TFA. Skeeve went 2 for 2 multis and made $2,500 and Combo Football Investor came back strong with $3,000 profit. Then there were the shockers, After a good run lately, Football Elite lost a shocking $5,800 and XX Draws has now given back every single cent of profit, losing $4,700 to sit on $3.50 profit for the year.
So another one of those weeks where things were looking so good and then the inevitable crash comes. Still a healthy profit, but I need a +$20,000 week soon to get me out of this funk.
This weekend I will be on a cruise in the middle of the ocean, so getting bets on may be a real hassle. I am going to do all I can to make sure they get placed, as with my luck we all know how they will end up if I miss them. Until next week.
