I have had a more profitable week before (April 27th – May 3rd), but this one was made with a lot less bet and most was made in one single day (as shown in the prior post). This week ended my first year of betting and started the second. I’ve managed to double what I made in 1 year in just 5 days. But these runs have happened before and they are followed by long losing runs, so i’m not celebrating just yet. If I can crack the 50k barrier then I might throw myself a little party.
Baseball interleague is over so I bet today. It didn’t go well with a $1,400 loss. AFL was the big winner this week with over $16,000 profit. A fantastic result and it has restored some faith in what has traditionally been an amazing model. I did say I would stop the totals betting, but decided to continue on as although it was down over $10,000, the bets are very large so a good week could easily half that loss, on the flip side, another terrible week and i’ll have to re-evaluate once again. Tennis had a bad end to wimbledon and a bad start to the new tournaments this week, down $1,300 for the week. NRL with a tiny profit and I have stopped the golf, would have lost another $1,000 this week if I had bet. The other strong performer this week was Formbet, with $6,600 profit.
I’m off travelling to the US and Europe at the end of this month. Will be gone for 2 months. I have started training a mate to place all the bets and am hoping that everything works out. It would be ideal if it does as when I get back I would happily let him continue and just give him a cut of the profits, would take a lot of stress and hassle out of my life and allow me to concentrate on other things. Time will tell. I’ll be taking just my Ipad with me, but might buy a laptop in the states. I will make sure I at a minimum have a monthly update for the next 2 months. Any travel advice would be great, and weird and wonderfull things I should go and see aside from the major attractions? please post them in the comments section.
