As always, the bets I miss win and the ones I manage to get on lose. This weekend I travelled to Melbourne to catch up with friends and watch my first live AFL game at the MCG. I only took the Ipad as I thought I could use logmein and place bets. Saturday was a washout as I had no time for anything apart from drinking and watching footy. That meant I couldn’t start the horse racing bot, which went on to make a healthy profit for the day, I would guess around $3-4k. The next morning as I recovered from the night before I was able to place AFL totals bets, they both lost for a $5,000 loss. I also got the Horse racing bot running for another loss of $3,000. My total profit was down to $9000 at this stage.

Then there was the Ash cloud (No flights out of Melbourne), which stopped me getting home until 10:30 last night, missing out on a great Tennis night, which would off made around $4,000 profit. I did run the bot in time which produced a nice $4,000 profit. So missed bets had cost me around $8,000 for the weekend and bets I did manage to get on cost $8,000. So a $16,000 turnaround. It just always seems to happen like that.

On another note, Melbourne was awesome.

MLB again had a losing week, a $1,000 loss all up. Apart from totals, AFL only lost a small amount, I will be changing my Kelly amount on totals to match that of H2H from this weekend. There wasn’t much bet on tennis and that also recorded a small loss. No bets on NRL this week as it is State of Origin week and the model doesn’t take this into account. Golf was so close, losing in a playoff. I have halved my bets on that and will keep them there from now on, or might stop altogether. Formbet had a losing week, but that was due to the bot not running on Saturday. I believe it would off had a break even week if I had managed to get it going.

Only two more weeks until a year is up, I’m glad that I’ve managed to last this long, but am really disappointed in the results, It could easily end at $0. All those hours placing bets would feel like wasted ones.
