The last week of my 3rd year of betting, it was profitable, but ended badly. At one stage I was close to $80,000 for the year, before a usual late weekend drop. I can’t say I am overly happy with the final result, but also can not complain either. It was another year of testing some assumptions and some things worked while others didn’t. I will get into more details in my yearly post so lets just move onto the results for the final week of year 3.
The last 3 weeks of AFL has been great, but this week an extra $10,000 would have been made if it wasn’t for the final bounce of the ball as it was heading towards goal, no matter how many years I bet for, these results will always hurt. Close to $7,000 profit for the week.
ATP has made $1,700 so far for the Wimbledon tournament. Some very close big wins going down in the 5th set which could have resulted in a very good return, all up a very disappointing tournament, especially after the great grass form the model showed coming into the event.
OTP NRL has been performing poorly the whole season, need a turnaround very quickly. $1,000 more lost this week.
Baseball has been on a bit of a downward trend, losing another $2,100 this week. Things can go either way for this model, hoping for a good comeback soon.
So that’s it for Year 3, nice to end on a profit. Looking towards a fantastic year 4.
