Wow, this is getting ridiculous now. Another amazing week, with another of my thoughts coming true. I spoke of how I liked the new way FB Elite was making his selections and it would take 1 good week to get back to even. Well this was that week. $13,000 profit for the weekend and now the service is only 1 unit down for the season. Initially I was skeptical about the new way of doing things and was very close to dropping down to $1,000 bets, but decided to keep the faith and so far it has paid off. Now for FB Elite to continue this recent run of great form and make me some profit for the season.

The last two months have shown what this portfolio is capable of when it performs to its potential. I also have AFL to look forward to this week which has the potential to add an extra 10-20k profit each week. I love that I now have a small buffer, it is much more relaxing betting with profits, then it was with huge loses. There are 3 months left for the year and if I can get close to $100,000 profit then even though it is way short of what I was expecting, it will show me that even in bad seasons, it can produce a very healthy return.

This week we had the NAB cup final and Jonno sent the wrong odds which resulted in me placing a bet on the wrong team, that bet went onto win. On The Punt NRL had a shocker, losing $3,250. The NBL made $2,200 profit and as the season comes to an end i’ll be happy to break even. ATP was so close on a few upsets, but Nadal cost me a small fortune and the Tennis ended up $1,500 down for the week.

Soccer once again produced all the profit, with only Combo FI having a very poor week, losing $3,700. XX Draws added $1,500, Skeeve had another perfect week and added $4,000, TFA Established made $2,100 and Euro didn’t perform as well as last week but still made a massive $6,000. As mentioned earlier, FB Elite chimed in with $13,000.

It really has been a heck of a start to 2013. I know things can’t last like this, but I am enjoying it right now. This is a very long term project and some seasons I will scrape by and maybe even lose money, but it’s that one year that is 12 months just like the previous two that will make me some real profit. The hope is at least one year in the next 5-10 returns $500,000 profit. The amounts I am betting are going to stay fairly constant over the next few years and I feel like I need a $200-500k bank to allow for bad runs. I am $30,000 of $200,000 profit over the past 2 years and 9 months, not bad for a starting bank of just $50,000. I think anyone would jump at those returns. But in saying all this, what I have gone through in the prior 7 months shows that things can go badly very quickly. In a months time I could be back to 0 for the year. But I have a good feeling that I will be hitting the $100,000 profit mark before the year is out.

Last weeks prediction was well off, but I’ll make another one. With AFL starting and FB Elite in great form, I am expecting $14,000 profit this week. Let’s see how close I get.
