I have decided to remove my stupid bet from the totals here. The reason I am doing this is to see if following models is a profitable way to bet. All the other bets are based on other peoples ideas and models. The stupid bet of mine was not a model bet and as I wont be placing any more in future, it should have no impact on how I rate following models. The bet will be kept on my spreadsheet to always remind me of my mistake. That means last weeks P/L total should read $12,315.91.
Onto this weeks betting. Soccer came out even with the H2H performing well but the totals doing poorly. The first week this year both Mens and Womens tennis made a profit. Things could have been much nicer but the last 5 bets this morning all lost losing over $3,000. NHL as always continues to be streaky. The model seems to suggest bets on nothing but overs for the last few months. NBA totals was such a strong performer but as the season is winding down it seems to be giving back all the profits. All golf bets lost this week.
The strong performer this week was Horse Racing. A win at $65 was very welcomed for the TOP 3 and a few other wins made it a +$4,000 week. It could have been even better if another horse had just managed to hold on paying $49.
