Today marks 1,000 days of betting. Quite an achievement if I don’t say so myself. I would say 80% of those days were pretty boring with nothing much happening, but the 20% of days were the ones that I love, the one’s where it seems every long shot comes in and the graph shoots up. That’s how the last 1000 days have gone, 6-8 months of treading water and then a sharp rise for 2-4 months. With almost 3 years of data now, this pattern is easily evident. It seems Jan-April have the sharp rises, followed by going nowhere for months on end. Off course this season I am hoping that all changes and it’s sharp rises for the entire 12 months.
Last week at the end of my post I guessed that my profit would be $14,000 for this week and I was only $313 off. So this week if you need to talk to me, refer to me as sportsodamus. It was a much quieter week as we had World Cup qualifiers, so most of the soccer services had no bets. The AFL season also started but with only 2 matches. But like the previous 8 weeks, it was all profit.
The new AFL player based model started with a bang, choosing the underdog in each match and they won comfortably. A $8,600 profit for the first week. This weekend will see a massive amount of bets, and I’m hoping that the player based model continues on from a great start.
ATP has performed very poorly over the last few weeks, we are still in profit about $10,000 for the year, and I know it will soon start hitting those big winners again. This week saw a further $3,400 taken off the total profit.
The final regular season games were completed this week in the NBL and over the last month Line betting has been incredible. All up the final week of NBL made $4,500 profit and a small $3,000 profit was made for the season. There are still the semi and final series to play, so hoping for a few more wins to end the season.
OTP Rugby league made a small comeback this week with $610 profit.
There were only 2 soccer services in action this week. Skeeve continues his comeback with $3,400 profit and is now only a few points off breaking even for the year. Skeeve and FB Elite have had an incredible run of late and come season end, they could actually end up in profit. Apoligises will be sent for all the harsh criticism over the year if this is the case. TFA was the only other model with bets this week and they broke even.
So the profits keep rolling in and the total profit for the year keeps marching towards $100,000. This coming week will see one of the biggest betting weeks of the season, with AFL and Soccer in full swing. Profits could range from -$30,000 to +$30,000. I’m going with another good but not spectacular week and my guess is $12,500 profit.
