May ends with a bang. Another profit this week all thanks to Sportpunter. May produced $76,000 profit at an 11.31% ROI and moved me from what I thought was a guaranteed losing year to one where a small profit might be made. I’ve been thinking of upping stakes for SP models, but it’s difficult enough to deal with the swings at my current stakes, so I’m not sure I would want to put myself in that position. I also don’t like using moving banks for sportpunter’s American sports as they do go in cycles. The NHL has proved that this year. I have 28 more days left in year 5 and will evaluate everything once that is up. Year 6 will be very interesting.
Onto this weeks results and Sportpunter once again made all the profits. Sportpunter has gone +$28.2k, +22.8k and now +$21.8k this week. Every single model made a profit. The AFL made $7,000, the NRL made $1,500 and the Super 15 bets made $3,300. The two American sports also contributed with NHL adding $7,200 and MLB an extra $2,800. May was also an amazing month for Dailyprofit subscribers. They made a 56% return on their banks in May and these are at prices that are easily beaten. If I was to quote like most other tipsters, I could easily claim a 100% bank return in May, but only 1 or 2 members would have been able to match that. We have 1 month left until the 1st year is over and I will do a full review of the results. I think it has been a success, but I have also learnt a lot and can easily improve some areas to make it even more profitable. Prices will be going up sharply in July.
Moving onto the other tipsters after that sales pitch. ClubGowi made $950 for the week. Betting against him made $360. The good thing (for me) is that it is clear he has lost a fair few members recently. This has meant prices are not dropping as much or as quickly. It’s still impossible to match his odds on most sports as he quotes the top odds on niche markets and one big bet sends them sliding down very quickly. For the very hefty monthly fee, and than to sit on a loss, it isn’t much fun.
Jason Kelly lost $500 on the Golf this week and is now very close to busting his 100 point bank (although for Golf tipsters I usually have a 200 point bank). Things could have been so different as an 80-1 pick of his lost in a playoff. Very painful.
There was just 1 final Soccer bet this week from the TFA Euro selections which lost for –$500. I’ll be reviewing all Soccer tipsters in the coming weeks. I also realised that I will most likely be in Europe next year during the Euro championships, so hope to catch a few games while over there. I love Soccer, I just wish betting on it would pay.
An amazing few weeks and the spike in the graph looks great. I had a similar spike in October after also hitting the -$60k mark. That run made a $140k profit in about 3 months. This spike is even sharper than that one and a replica would be greatly appreciated. Until next week.
