Well that ends 7 straight weeks of profit. It seems I can’t say anything on twitter without someone getting angry. It’s hard to get my emotions across in so few characters, I’m amazed Graeme from The football analyst can use it so well :). Last week it was Palmerbet and now Bryan from Nics picks has been upset by a tweet. I’ll explain it all in a post tomorrow but I missed a bet on the Golf which would have seen me have $75 on a 80-1 winner. Such a quiet week with only a few Soccer bets and AFL had no massive overlays either which resulted in much smaller bets. The next few months are going to be interesting, much lower turnover, but traditionally these bets have a much higher ROI, so should see that grow a little.

Sportpunter had a week where every single model lost. Tennis is very up and down (mostly down) at the moment and this season just can’t seem to get going. It really needs to pick up its game. A $3,850 loss for the week. AFL lost $850 on small turnover and the NRL and Super Rugby lost a combined $1,350. A total loss of $6,050.
This was the last week of most European Soccer leagues so we are entering the review season as of this week. I’m sure I’ll stir up another hornets nest as I give my honest evaluation of each tipster this season. Keep in mind that this is only MY experience with each system. Everyone is going to have a different take on the matter and you are free to post your comments under my reviews. I would love to hear how others have done following the same tipsters as me and if they have any tips or advice to offer. ClubGOWI will continue to advise Soccer bets all season long as he moves now onto the J-league, MLS and other south american leagues.
The last bet of the season for TFA was a perfect representation of the season for me. Multiple bets on the same Home team in the Scottish league. I had $4,000 on Partick and after going down 2-0 came back to 2-2 before losing 3-2. That loss pushed the total loss for TFA this season to just over $40,000. ClubGOWI on the other hand has been on a great run and is showing me how good he can be. The official bets made $4,400 while the unofficial ones lost $100. While I stand by my bugbears with the service, the results far outweigh any negative criticism. I would advise anyone not a member yet to look into the service and see if it is a fit for you (depends really if you can get the bets on as soon as released). I’ll write a specific post about the service in the coming weeks.
I lost again with the Golf bets but that’s a story for tomorrow. Both Bryan and I have decided to part ways with this service and my thoughts on everything will be on the blog tomorrow.
Onto the MLB and PCG has a good week with $1,750 profit and the other model continues to perform poorly with a $650 loss. Jonno from Sportpunter has just created his own MLB model and the backtested results on totals look amazing, I’ll have to have a think about following it.
The amazing run eventually had to end and I much prefer this soft landing of a smaller loss then a big 5 figure loss. I already miss soccer, I’ll be doing a lot of research on new tipsters for next season and hope to have a new soccer portfolio that will for once see my profits skyrocket.
