We haven’t had a new entrant into the Aussie market for some time. Over the next few years, I see mergers and acquisitions more likely than new entrants entering the market. The last time I did an affiliate post for a new sportsbook was over 2 years ago with the Madbookie brand. Looking at my stats on that post, you guys took up well over $500,000.00 in bonus bets from that sign-up offer.
With the new laws changing next year, Bookmakers will not be able to offer any type of sign up bonus. So this will be one of the last chances for Aussies to get a decent sign-up offer. It will be interesting to see how bookmakers deal with this, and how they will entice new customers. But for the moment, it is still legal to offer a sign-up bonus and a 100% match to test out a new book is something we can’t take for granted anymore.
The new bookie
The new bookie is neds.com.au and is run by the same guy who started bookmaker.com.au and was the CEO of Ladbrokes Australia. So it is a serious bookie. They are going to target the Australian sports betting market first, before opening up to the UK and also going after the growing lottery market.
The Sign-up offer
Edit: Sign up offers are not allowed to be advertised in Australia. You will need to sign up to bookmakers without an incentive, but bookmakers are free to offer incentives once you have an account.
Why use my link?
As with any affiliate link I have, if you have any issues with the site at any time (sign up bonus not being given, payment issue, so on), you can contact me and I will be on the phone to the affiliate manager that day. I can’t guarantee I can solve the problem, but as long as you followed the rules, I will do all I can to make sure the problem is resolved quickly. I only have a few affiliate links on this site and try and create relationships with the books I do advertise. I value my readers signing up under me, as they help out this site, and the least I can do is try and help on the off chance there is an issue. You won’t get that type of service anywhere else.
What about non-Aussies?
Currently, Neds is only taking customers from Australia. But in the next few months, they will open up to other countries. I will let you guys from Europe, UK, so-on know when they do.
Disclaimer
This is an affiliate post. What that means is if you join this bookmaker through my link, your account is linked under my name. Every month the affiliate will work out how everyone who I referred has done and if they have made a profit from them I will receive a cut (25%) of that profit. I can not guarantee that winning punters will not be limited.
