Nov 23rd – Nov 29th -$2,228.72

This week saw me reach my $50,000 milestone (post below this one), and then as always happens, a shocking run to take off over $6,000 profit in just 5 days. This week also stopped the run of 3 positive weeks. I’m still glad to have reached $50,000 and know that I will be up there again and then in 2012 it will be a mere memory as I stride majestically to the $100,000 profit mark.

So where did we lose it all?

The ATP season ended this week and with most of the favs winning, it ended the year with a $2,670 loss. But with a ending profit of just over $41,000 I have no complaints with the tennis model for the 2011 season.

NHL had another losing week, quickly losing patience with this model. Just not sure what I should do as the season is still only $600 down. So I will continue and hope for a good run.

NBL H2H is also shocking, There was a massive suggested bet for Melbourne this week which I halved as they lost their NBA player this week and I knew the model is not a player based one. In reality I should not have placed the bet at all. Totals made a small profit.

After the great start I had with NFL, the last few weeks it has crashed back to earth and recorded another $1,100 loss this week. The model is in negative territory for the first time this season. If I had started in the first week the profit would be huge, so this one has cost me on timing.

SOCCER SOCCER SOCCER, garrr, it is continually dragging down my profits and I am following the highest rating models from the secret betting club. FB Elite had another terrible week with $1345 lost, Skeeve made a tiny profit and the worst one by far, Football Investor lost a total of $1,700. I will have to take a serious look at the Football Investor service as it is now over the -$5,000 limit I have set as a stage where I need to seriously consider if I continue or not. I will keep going but if it hits that $10,000 loss mark then I have to write this one off as another poor service. This time I won’t be able to blame my bank size or betting level as I have followed these from the Football Investors own newsletter. Here’s hoping for a turnaround because until the new year there isn’t much but soccer and horses to bet on.

The only saviour this week was my Horse racing service. An incredible $5,000 profit for the week, including a 16/1 winner. Without this profit my bank would be looking very weak indeed. The service has really hit a fantastic run this month. I know I cant rely on wins like this to cover the other poorly performing models each week, so those others really need to perform.

My foray into the world of SBC recommended tipsters currently sits at over $6,000 lost. So it seems that even the “best” tipster can have terrible runs. I will off course give it more time and money but I have a very strong inclination to just throw everything into the sportpunter portfolio as even with some terrible results in a few select sports, I have managed to make $80,000 from them. That means that my following of other tipsters has cost me $36,000. Add in subscription price and time costs and it leaves many questions.
